THE DRAWING ROOM

This visual identity system draws on the natural, untamed aesthetics of the Pre-Raphaelite movement. It complements imaginative living spaces shaped by the working-class female muses of the Brotherhood. Their beauty captivated male artists yet defied Victorian ideals. Some became artists’ lovers, moving into opulent homes and bringing a resourceful style that subtly transformed traditional Victorian interiors.

Historically, the drawing room, short for “withdrawing room,” was where ladies entertained guests after meals. The Drawing Room, however, extends beyond a single space. Through biographically inspired scenes, it tells intimate narratives reflecting these women’s influence throughout the home. It honors the legacy of women who proved that storytelling spaces are timeless, remembering them not only as muses but as creators.
